ALIBRA SCHOOL offers study programmes for children from ages 5 to 12 and teenagers from ages 13 to 18. Our courses are developed based on the Cambridge methodology for teaching children English, and take into account young students’ particular characteristics.
Preschoolers 5-7 years old
Our methodology for teaching children ages 5-7 is based on an interactive lesson format. Lessons focus on accumulating basic vocabulary and developing the ability to hold simple conversations. Game-based methods are especially popular with the little ones: in class they sing fun songs, draw, colour, and solve riddles. During foreign language lessons, young students also learn to read and write.
Elementary school 8–10 years old
This course is designed for students from ages 8 to 10 and includes interactive lessons that are still as exciting as at the previous level, but more sophisticated. While studying a foreign language, children not only play, draw, and sing, but also write letters themselves, read stories, do listening activities, and speak a lot. Varied lesson formats help students become familiar with a wide range of new themes: home, school, food, the city, holidays, etc. Foreign language courses for schoolchildren culminate in a Cambridge examination.
Teenagers from 11 years old
The ALIBRA SCHOOL methodology is based on extensive speaking practice and a logical system of grammar study. This course teaches teenagers starting from age 11 to competently express their thoughts in a foreign language, develop their writing and listening skills, and prepare for Cambridge examinations. Lesson formats are pleasantly varied: they include speaking games, practicums, and project work in groups or pairs.
Desire to learn, love of language
The development of four core language skills
Excellent language and child skills
Objective evidence of knowledge
We foster a captive interest and desire to learn in our youngest students. They remain highly motivated throughout the entire foreign language course, and this allows them to achieve top results.
None of that «in one ear and out the other»
Our methodology of teaching English to children involves regular repetition of material that has been covered. This allows students to keep the knowledge they have gained in their memories for a long time.
Various lesson formats
Engaging tasks allow young students to frequently switch from one activity to another. Our methodology includes such a wide variety of lesson formats that children will not have the chance to become bored. This makes each lesson a fascinating journey into the world of foreign language!
